It symbolizes the union of the couple, each with their own personal background (character, knowledge, personality) represented by a different color.
It is one of the most famous and beloved symbolic rituals.
It represents the union of the couple, each with their own personal background: character; knowledge; personality; aspiration, etc., represented by a different color.
The personal hues are symbolized in containers of colored sand.
The couple will pour their sand into a larger vase that represents their future life together.
The two colors will not blend into a different color but will remain together and distinct within the vase.
Each grain of sand will take its own space, and it will not be possible to separate the two colors. United together, but each with their own way of being.
Parents can participate in the ceremony by bringing the "color" of the family of origin and will start pouring the sand before the couple.
Alternatively, children can participate, each pouring their own sand as well.
The vase will represent the family.
