Ring Warming Ritual

The wedding bands pass from hand to hand among the closest loved ones, who, holding them for a few seconds, will "deliver" a thought for the spouses.

This ritual is connected to the exchange of rings.

In the original version of this symbolic ritual, the wedding bands, before reaching the spouses, pass from hand to hand among all the guests, who, holding them for a few seconds, will "deliver" a thought or, if religious, a prayer for the spouses.

This symbolic ritual can be done when the guests are not numerous.

Alternatively, a variation could be chosen: instead of passing the rings among all the guests, the closest people (friends, witnesses, parents, siblings, children, etc.) are selected, who will stand next to the spouses at the appropriate moment. At this point, the rings will pass among them, and each person will hold them for a few seconds, infusing a thought or a prayer before delivering them to the spouses for the exchange.
